Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator


 

We’re looking for a Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator to join our Transportation team. In this role you will contribute to the delivery of the Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) strategy and action plan and help to drive excellent inclusion practices across the Transportation business. This is a national role and will involve travel as required. Within this role, you can enjoy a company car or car allowance, competitive annual leave with the option to buy/sell and even more.

Location: Nationwide - remote working available, with travel to offices and sites as required

Contract: Permanent – flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know

Salary: up to £35k FTE + £4.5k car allowance


Responsibilities

As a D&I Coordinator, you’ll be providing support to the Diversity and Inclusion Manager and Social Sustainability Team assisting in the delivery of the D&I action plan and managing regular updates.

Your day to day will include:

    • planning and coordinating D&I activities and events
    • building and maintaining collaborative relationships with external partners and stakeholders
    • collating and reporting on D&I and other relevant data
    • sharing best practice with the wider business, supply chain, and clients
    • working with the communications team to produce high quality internal and external communications promoting D&I initiatives and activity

    • a passion and interest in diversity and inclusion
    • experience working in a similar role
    • a practical understanding of the Equality Act
    • good knowledge of key D&I practices and issues
