I am currently supporting a Secondary School in the Welwyn area, seeking an impassioned and enthralling Teaching Assistant / Behaviour Mentor.
This setting caters to students with various complexities, behaviours that challenge, SEMH, and who have severe Social Anxiety.
As a Behaviour Mentor/Education Assistant, you will be required to complete all day-to-day classroom activities and maintain continuous routines for pupils. In addition, you will be helping children hit their daily targets and even longer projects such as their short and long-term goals.
The Position:
- Long term and Perm contracts
- Students with; SEMH, Trauma, Autism, and Anxiety.
- Students with CAMHS and ECHPs
- 8:30am – 15:30pm – Monday through to Friday
- September start
Applicant Requirements:
- Ideally have experience working with children in a school setting – SEMH/Trauma/Autism/Therapy-related work
- Must have a creative and positive mindset and want to make an impact in pupils educational and personal development
Pay:
- £75 – £85 per day
- Weekly payments (Term Time only)
- PAYE or Umbrella Options
