Nikos Greek Restaurant is a small business in Castle Douglas. We are professional, and our goal is to provide training and support to local people who want to develop in the hospitality industry.

We are looking for a Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits but full training can be providing. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing drinks according to recipes, and ensuring the bar is stocked with the necessary supplies. We are looking for someone who is friendly, outgoing, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare drinks according to customers' orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ensure that all drinks are served in accordance with company standards.
- Collect payment from customers and process cash and credit card transactions.
- Restock the bar with liquor, beer, wine, and other items as needed.
- Waiting tables when required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 15 - 35 per week
Salary: £5.92-£11.74 per hour
