Are you looking for a role within an organisation where the work you do makes a real difference to people's lives? Are you looking to develop your fundraising experience with a sector-leading team? If the answer is yes then our Associate Head of Legacy and Tribute Fundraising could be for you.
Every childhood is worth fighting for. This is our belief. We all share it. And it drives our Fundraising team to get out there and bring in the funds we need to protect children and prevent abuse. Join us as the Associate Head of Legacy and Tribute Fundraising, and get more people involved in change that means everything.
The NSPCC is a leading UK children's charity for legacy income, which is the second largest income source for the NSPCC. Around £20m of the donations we receive each year come in the form of gifts in Wills and tribute fundraising. We are planning for significant growth in our legacy pipeline in the coming years and the Associate Head of Legacy and Tribute Fundraising will lead on the marketing strategy and activity to achieve this.
The role reports into the Head of Individual Supporters and will be part of the Individual Supporters Management team.
As the Associate Head of Legacy and Tribute Fundraising, not only will the work you do make a real difference to people's lives but opportunity is provided to develop your fundraising experience with a sector leading team.
The Associate Head of Legacy and Tribute Fundraising will lead the legacy marketing and legacy stewardship strategies across our mass supporter audience, to grow our legacy supporters across the legacy pipeline and drive income from gifts in Wills, whilst playing a key role in the delivery of the overall NSPCC legacy strategy.
About you,
- You will have significant legacy marketing and tribute fundraising experience, including proposition and messaging development, supporter acquisition and supporter stewardship.
- You will have a supporter led approach and significant experience in developing and creating supporter journeys for legacy and tribute supporters placing the supporter at the heart of everything you do.
- You will have proven leadership skills, including leading a team and motivating them to achieve results both directly and through a matrix structure. You will have an ability to empower and support those who work with you, and to build relationships with people at all levels in an organisation.
This is a real opportunity to make a difference to children's lives, but we also like to reward people by offering a great working environment, being part of a friendly and supportive team, and offering stimulating and challenging work, with plenty of development opportunities. We offer a variety of rewards and benefits including generous annual leave, employee benefits and assistance programme, pension and life assurance schemes.
Join us at this exciting time and you'll become part of an expanding team that cares about the work they do and the people they work with. You'll discover opportunities to grow, along with challenges and a shared purpose that'll bring the best out in you. And you'll get to find your own way to make a difference that means more, and that impacts millions of young lives. We want to ensure roles are accessible and inclusive of everyone, which is why the NSPCC offers a high degree of flexibility around ways of working.
